Dr. Lana Lopesi MZNM is a critic of art and culture based in Tāmaki Makaurau, and the Editor-in-Chief for the Pacific Arts Legacy Project. Lana is the author of False Divides (BWB 2018), Bloody Woman (BWB 2021), was our Interim Director in 2021 and the Editor-in-Chief of The Pantograph Punch from 2017–2019. Lopesi is currently the Assistant Professor in the department of Indigenous Race and Ethnic Studies, at the University of Oregon.

Nigel Borell (Pirirakau, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi, Te Whakatōhea) is a curator, writer, educator and artist specialising in Māori art in both customary and contemporary fields of research.

Ema Tavola is an independent artist-curator based in South Auckland. Having established her practice whilst managing Fresh Gallery Ōtara, a local government-funded community art gallery, Tavola grounded her curatorial concerns in the opportunities for contemporary art to engage grassroots audiences, shift representational politics and archive the Pacific diaspora experience. Tavola has worked in galleries and museums throughout New Zealand and is committed to curating as a mechanism for social inclusion, centralising Pacific ways of seeing and exhibition making as a mode of decolonisation. She opened her independent gallery, Vunilagi Vou in 2019 and relocated it from a commercial premises to her home as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Ioana Gordon-Smith is a curator of Sāmoan (Faleula, Leauva'a) and English heritage. She currently works as the inaugural Curator Māori Pacific at Pātaka Art + Museum. Prior to that, she was the inaugural Curator at Te Uru Waitākere Contemporary Gallery. She contributes regularly to a number of catalogues as well as magazines and journals and and is a trustee for the community-focused art collective Whau The People.
