Gabi Lardies is a 1.5 generation tauiwi from Argentina living in Tāmaki Makaurau. She has an MFA from Elam School of Fine Arts, and a Graduate Diploma of Sociology from the University of Auckland. Currently Gabi is one of three cadets in The Next Page programme, where she is learning feature writing and journalism. She loves dancing, gardening and the sea.
