Ko Taiwana tōna whakapaparanga mai, engari ko Tāmaki Makaurau tōna whenua tupu me tōna kāinga. Ko Danya Yang tōna ingoa. Danya is a Taiwanese tauiwi who has found a home in our local music scene. She has been working in Aotearoa's music industry since 2020, whilst studying te reo Māori at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi. As a kaimahi, she is dedicated to supporting and championing independent artists on their haerenga.
