Tom Augustine is a filmmaker and writer. Based in Tamaki Makaurau, Tom has written or produced work for RNZ, The Spinoff, Birth.Movies.Death, Metro and the New Zealand Herald, where he ran the 'Weekend in Film' review section of Canvas Magazine. Tom's film and writing work explores issues of masculinity, redemption and class anxiety. Tom has a Masters First Class in Screen Production from the University of Auckland and can be found on Twitter @tom_augustine.
