Tihema Baker is a Māori writer of Te Āti Awa ki Whakarongotai, Ngāti Raukawa te Au ki te Tonga, and Ngāti Toa Rangatira. He holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing and is the author of two novels, Watched and Exceptional. Tihema writes and works as an independent consultant from his home on the Kāpiti Coast.
