Tigilau Ness is a first-generation Aotearoa New Zealand-born Niuean activist and founder of the Polynesian Panthers. As a reggae icon, he was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Pacific Music Awards in 2009. Kolokesa is a co-founder of Lagi-Maama Academy and Consultancy, an educational and cultural organisation that involves mediating at the intersecton of Indigenous communities and institutional settings.
