Ngapuhi, Ngai Tahu, Whakatōhea always dreams of living the sweet life up north in the bush but wakes up to her husband in Tamaki Makaurau, and is caught always leaving the house without her shoelaces tied as a sound technician on film productions. Currently, Sandy is on a quest to find connections and similarities between the universe above and how this is reflected below in the world around her. Her latest hobby is cooking asado.
