Ash Davida Jane is a poet and editor from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She is the author of Every Dark Waning (Platypus Press, 2016) and How to Live With Mammals (Te Herenga Waka University Press, 2021), which placed second in the 2021 Laurel Prize for a collection of environmental poems. Jane has a Master of Arts from the International Institute of Modern Letters, is a publisher at We Are Babies Press, and regularly reviews books for Radio New Zealand.

Sinead Overbye (Te Whānau a Kai, Ngāti Porou) is our Kaiwāwāhi Kaupapa Māori - Kaupapa Māori Editor. She is a Libra sun with a Cancer Moon and Aries rising. Her background is in art history, Māori history, creative writing and educational research. Her work has been published with Starling, Sport, Turbine Kapohau, RNZ and other places.

Carolyn DeCarlo lives in Wellington with her partner and two cats. She has written a few chapbooks, most recently 

 (Compound Press, 2014), which she co-wrote with Jackson Nieuwland. She is a founding member of the Wellington-based reading collective, Food Court. A number of her poems will be published in 

, alongside Sophie van Waardenberg and Rebecca Hawkes, in August 2019.

Leah Dodd is a poet and writer who lives in Pōneke. Her poetry has appeared in Starling, Stasis, Mayhem, Sweet Mammalian and The Spinoff. In 2021 she won the Biggs Family Poetry Prize from the International Institute of Modern Letters at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. She is the author of Past Lives.

Rebecca Hawkes is a queer Pākehā poet and painter. Her work is largely consumed by hardcore pastorals and beastly romance. Her debut chapbook Softcore Coldsores was published by Auckland University Press in AUP New Poets 5. Her first full-length collection, Meat Lovers, was released by AUP in early 2022 and won the Laurel Prize.
