Octavius Jones is a Fulbright scholar from California, the United States. He is currently completing his PhD at Te Herenga Waka — Victoria University of Wellington. Octavius has over four years of international experience in Africa and continues his research in marine ecosystem conservation, arts-based methods, and cultural studies across the globe, with an emphasis on working with Indigenous and marginalised groups.
