Maja Zonjić is an award-winning feminist documentary storyteller. She was recently awarded a PhD in Film with Human Geography from VUW in Aotearoa, where she currently lives and teaches. Her work reframes tropicalised tourism narratives by challenging colonial continuities and the violent erasure of particular peoples, spaces, and species in Utila, Honduras.
