His creative non-fiction, fiction, travel stories and reviews have appeared in a range of publications including Landfall, Sport, The Spinoff, NZ Listener, The Press and the NZ Herald. In 2016 he won the non-fiction category in the 2016 Sunday Star Times Short Story awards. He lives in the Wairarapa.
