A one-night-only extravaganza featuring stories from the internet's wild west
The internet is a space where anything can happen: you can play doctor, curator, drug lord or pirate. You can meet the love of your life, or discover that someone's used an old photo of you on a dating site. You can learn how to build a medium-sized deck, or teach the world how to make chili and cheese nachos. The possibilities are infinite, and all you need is a bit of time and some WiFi.
It's why we're thrilled to present our first event for the year, I'm Feeling Lucky. Staged as part of Silo Theatre's season of Eight Gigabytes of Hardcore Pornography, it's going to be a one-night-only live storytelling extravaganza that reveals the good, the bad, and the ugly of going online.
Hosted by Tim Batt and featuring Perlina Lau, Yvonne Ryan, Francis McWhannell and Rose Matafeo, there'll be tales of stolen identities, grandmothers trying online dating, and the unexpected connections that form when you plunge into the unknown.
We'd love to see you there.
