We're looking for a new Books Editor to join our team! Could it be you?

About the role

This role is an opportunity for an experienced writer and editor to help shape our books section.

As a key member of our editorial team, you'd be helping to commission, edit and develop new writing while maintaining the organisations values, including upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

In addition to writing and editing experience, you'll have a clear vision for the section and the kinds of conversations you'd like to be leading, working in collaboration with our current Books Editor, Sarah Jane Barnett and our Editor-in-Chief, Lana Lopesi.

Details

This role is offered on a casual basis (encompassing 5-7 hours per week) on a three-year term. Please note that applicants from anywhere in Aotearoa are encouraged to apply, with most of the work taking place remotely and online.
