Forgotten Home: A Comic

Jem Yoshioka is an illustrator and comic artist living in Wellington. Of 'Forgotten Home' she said: 'Every project arrives differently. Some are slow and put together piece by piece, like a model ship. Occasionally I am lucky enough to have one arrive fully formed. I walk home along the Wellington waterfront. This comic was a small fragment that snagged in my vision, the light beaming across the water towards me. The comic arrived whole – all I had to do was write it down.'
